For accelerated skin improvement, use it twice a day, in the morning and night. For full sun protection, re-apply every two hours. If you are prone to oily skin, use it strictly in the morning, unaccompanied by a moisturizer.

The Multimodal Defender Broad Spectrum SPF 30 has been clinically shown to diminish the appearance of unresolved hyperpigmentation when used alone—and yield enhanced visible results when used with the Resurfacing Compound. Can I use the product while pregnant or nursing?

Is it normal to see a white or blue-ish residue at first?

Yes, you might notice a tint prior to fully rubbing it in. Make sure the product is fully massaged: Upon application, the formula warms to skin temperature and within a few seconds it absorbs, leaving a soft, illuminated radiance.

SPF 50 is only about 1.3% more protective than SPF 30—but if you want extra protection, go ahead. The Multimodal Defender also offers Broad Spectrum coverage, which means it protects against UVA and UVB rays.

Can this be used at night as well?

Yes! This is a true treatment product designed for both day and night use. Apply it in the evening to help visibly brighten.

How long will the product last me?

It should last six weeks, if used as directed.

What if I see a white cast when applying the MMD?

Thanks to its targeted blend of ingredients, it’s designed to have a thick, almost solid texture as it comes out of the jar. Once massaged, it transforms, heating to your body temperature and melting into a creamy, non-migrating balm. It then releases a potentially cooling effect, as it's fully absorbed into the skin and blended into your complexion. This unique texture accounts for how it appears in the jar, which is completely normal. It also makes it ideal for both allover and spot treatment (be more generous for day and opt for a thinner coat to treat dark spots), so you can easily measure exactly how much you’re applying.
